Beginner Level Stained Glass

Learn the basics of stained glass in five weekly sessions.  You will complete at least two projects and have the skills you need to continue to the next level.  You'll love it!

Tuition is $175 for 5 weeks

You will also need to purchase one of the following tool kits:

Starter Tool Kit $50 ~ With this option, you may borrow some Studio

                                tools during class time.

Expanded Tool Kit $135 ~ This kit is a more complete set

Once you have completed your 5 week introductory course, you may continue with Tuesday beginner class for a fee of only $25 per evening.  You can work on more challenging projects and develop your stained glass skills.  Class size is limited and you must register in advance.

Introduction to Glass Fusing          

Fusing is HOT! Kilns can be used to create bowls, plates, tiles, decorative pieces and even jewelry!  You will learn the technical information needed to begin creating beautiful pieces using kiln-formed glass.  No stained glass experience is necessary so bring a friend!

Tuition is $150 for 3 weeks ~ Includes decorative     glass elements and two kiln firings

Advanced Techniques Classes       

During our Thursday evening advanced classes, students can work on different types of projects at the same time.  You may decide to begin a Tiffany lamp shade, while someone else learns the techniques of boxmaking.  No more waiting weeks for a specific class to begin! 

Class Tuition is $25 per evening

Class size is limited, and you must register in advance

Tiffany Lamp 

Creating a fabulous Tiffany style lampshade with a mold is not as difficult as you may think!  We'll show you the many "helpful hints" that make this an enjoyable and rewarding project.  The end result is a piece that you'll enjoy for many years to come! 

Panel Lamp

In this class you will learn many invaluable tips on the construction of basic panel lampshades. Studio K has many patterns available!

Large Panel

As you build larger pieces, you must consider reinforcement.  Learn the ways to strengthen and frame your large panel.

Box Lantern

You'll love creating this unique lantern ~ many tips on 3D construction!  Pattern is provided by Studio K.  Cost is $110

Mirror with Overlay

Working with mirror can be challenging.  This class will help you overcome these challenges as you create a beautiful wall hanging!

Glass Fusing

Bevel Panel

Working with clusters of beveled glass offers unique challenges.  We can teach you the necessary techniques to construct a "sparkling" panel using beveled glass. 

Basic Fused Dichroic Jewelry 

Learn how to design and create exquisite jewelry using fused dichroic glass! 

No stained glass experience is necessary so bring a friend!  Firing costs are additional to class tuition

Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscopes are fun and easy!  You will make a fantastic scope using special front surface mirrors to create brilliant effects. 

3 Dimensional Box

 Take the frustration out of box making.  From hinges to brass filigrees, we'll show you how! 

3D Butterfly 

This 3 dimensional butterfly looks so real! ~ all you have to do is choose beautiful colors for the wings!

Stepping Stone

You can create your very own colorful glass stepping stone for your garden!  You will learn how to prepare the pattern and mix your own cement.  A great way to bring the beauty of glass outdoors! 

Solder Clinic

Professional soldering techniques will be discussed in this clinic.  Please bring a project that is foiled and ready to be soldered ~ we can teach you the tricks that will make glasswork less frustrating!  Cost is $40

3D Beveled Star  

Catch the light with this beautiful 3D hanging beveled star!  Learn invaluable tips for assembling this project.

Stained Glass Picture Frame

There are many tips to help you with creating a beautiful stained glass picture frame!  A great way to use your scrap glass! 

Decorative Soldering Techniques

Add the sparkle to your soldering that will set your work apart!  Decorative soldering will do just that!
